state project

My first independent project in third grade was a state project! My state was Nevada because I didn't know anything about it! I know a lot about it now because I finished my project already. The state bird of Nevada is the mountain bluebird! Nevada is a really interesting state. It is a interesting state because it does not have a football team. My state project is on keynote. My project has 15 slides! I can't wait until I can share my project!

The egg drop

This morning I did an egg drop at school after specials! The first time the class tried it my egg cracked. My mom was there to watch! Mostly every bodies egg survived. This week my class redesigned our contraptions! Today we dropped our designs off the top of my school! When I checked my egg it didn't crack. I was really happy! I think it worked because I had a lot of balloons in my parachute and there was nowhere for my egg to go because there was so much padding! 17 peoples eggs didn't crack! 2 peoples eggs cracked both times. I feel bad!

my new room!

Last weekend my brother and I went to our Grandparents for the weekend.  While we were gone my mom and dad did my room.  My mom and dad spent alot of time working on my room.  when I got back I didn't scream or jump when I saw my room I just stood there mouth open and speechless.  It has vines with flowers hanging over my bed.  It has a giant tree next to my bed and light up flowers that are on my dresser.  My comforter has a Bobby Jack monkey on it.  It's supposed to be a Jungle Room.

And, what I missed I have a zebra case that can hold stuff in it.  I have a dresser and nightstand that's right next to my bed and it has a little tree on it and lanterns hanging over it.  They're green.  My mom and dad really surprised me.  I can still smell fresh paint in my room.  The back wall is brown and the other walls are dark green.  My wall next to my dresser are going to be a lot and a lot of pictures of different kinds of monkeys, one picture of a lion and a picture of a toucan.

My big bear that I used to have in the corner where my big tree is, is in my closet taking up a lot of room.  I am going to get a big canvas to go above my bed on the wall.  I have 4 that I can't decide on.  I have a shelf that we were supposed to sell and that has a lot of jungle animals on it.  I thought that my desk would be a little bit cleaner.  I got a pillow that has a zebra design on it that has a G on it in the middle.  They are the best parents you could ever wish for.

the first day of school

today was the first day of school.  today we just organized our desks.  today was the best first day of 3rd grade.  Mr Mowery is so much fun and so funny.  i got a new book bag.  I sit with Sydney my friend I had last year.  My friends Makena and Sarah are also my best friends, but they are in a different class.  The friends I had last year are Jake, Sydney, Panya, Jonathan and Josh.  They are all in my class this year.  My homework tonight is reading 15 pages of George Brown Class Clown.  I'm on Chapter 7.

meet the teacher

today was meet the teacher day. I go to Glacier Ridge Elementary. my teacher is Mr. Mowery.Big Lego hotel in his room. it even has details inside it. last year I had Mrs. Price. I'm almost as tall as her! 

                                        P.S. Mr. Mowery and  Mr. Ross are the tallest guys in school.

the girl

one day there was a girl named Jenna. she was at school in the library and she was reading a book called princess world. it was about a princess and a prince. she checked it out. she went home and kept on reading it and then...           she was in the book! and she was the princess and she wasn't in her tower but she saw the prince through the small woods.then he came out looking like a frog and then she remembered  that in the beginning of the book there was a evil witch. then all of a sudden she was ticklish and itchy. she never felt this before.  she said " I'm wearing the prettyist dress in the world." an hour later...  the curse wore off the prince and he was back to normal. the prince thought the princess looked different.she saw the same prince in the movie sleeping beauty. but my name is Dominic! one year later...            they got married        the end
